Yeah, you still have your guns but....

What will you put in them ? It is well known that the availability of ammunition in many parts of the country has been a problem for gun owners. They include ammo for hunting and sportsmen as well as law enforcement.  Makes you think a bit doesn't it. It seems that it fits in with the current push by the left to usurp the 2cd amendment. Going through the back door, so to say. Or rather going " in" the back door of the American citizen.  The DHS  is about to buy 1.5 billion rounds of ammo. Enough to supply a war like the one in Iraq  for many years. The question is why, and why now ? Is it because they want  gun owners and citizenry to not be able to shoot and protect themselves from bad guys ? Or is it buying ammo up and cornering the market. In order to potentially use guns against Americans.  Because of the radical Obama policies and poor economy ? Afraid that there could be trouble in the paradise we called the home of the home and the brave ?
Is this the way the federal government plans to control our ability to defend ourselves against them as well.

There are many theories. Some have an apparent thoughtful rational. Some are conspiracy theories. Some of those also have a thoughtful and acceptable rational. Shored up by recent current events and efforts by:

1.The federal government to grow larger and larger.

2. Obama's efforts to govern by fiat through executive order.

3. The people starting to realize that " transformation " of America. Is really a code word to revamp our system to fit into Obama's ideas of social justice.

4. How the Constitution and Bill of Rights should read and be interpreted, sometimes even going around it.

5. Ignoring protests and using the Justice Dept. and Erick Holder to side step the issue by obfuscation. Sometimes by out right lies.

6. Keeping Americans off  balance by trying to create crises after crises.

7.  By what seems like a cover up on Bengazi causing the death of Americans.We are still waiting for answers that are not contradictory.  No access to the survivors of that second 9/11.

8. Confiscatory taxes that are unfair and lop sided.

9. Promises made to get the Affordable Care Act passed known now to be untrue and a total con job.

10. High unemployment after $ 1 Trillion dollar stimulus package he used as a political slush fund to pay off    unions and help keep his friends in office.  By helping city and state governments pay for fat and over bloated collective bargaining contracts. Ensuring union dues go back to the democrats in campaign contributions.

Forget Greece, U.S.is already like Cyprus.

Do We Want to Be like Cyprus ?  Too late we are closer than you think.
European Union parliment member said  today that confiscation of monies from private funds in banks is ok. All countries should do it. 



Cyprus, an island in the Mediterranean sea. off the coasts of Turkey and Greece. Is a small country with a population of about 1 million people at last count. A great place to have picnic. The island is about the size of Hawaii. Unlike Hawaii, it is split in two politically, culturally and religiously. It is the last place in Europe that is still divided as a national entity. The north is Muslim and Turkish and the south, Christian and Greek. 

The Greek part of Cyprus is a member of the European Union. Northern Turkish Cyprus is not. Because of it's location and banking laws. It became a financial hub,. Many of the depositors being Russian  and others. In order to avoid laws that affect their money in a detrimental way. The banks have experienced a recent melt down and have closed their doors for the time being due to a run on the banks.

The European Union has refused to provide a bailout to Cyprus unless they come up with part of the money needed. Why is Cyprus in this situation. You guessed it. Spending and entitlements. One example is the amount of days that are statutory holidays (vacation days) after 10 years service 35days, based on a 40 hr. work week. They rank number 3 world.

The government has gone into an austerity mode since the last leader, a communist was ousted.  The percentage of debt versus the GDP is greatly out of wack. Borrowing what turned out to be unsustainable amounts of money and causing debt levels to be un- managable. This is a lesson that Mr. Obama and the Democrats refuse to acknowledge.  As anyone in Cyprus and Greece and Italy can tell you. You cannot spend and borrow your way into prosperity.


So how will Cyprus get the money. One way that has been proposed is taxing bank accounts of large depositors. Or, accounts in excess of 100,000 euros. In essence taxing the money twice.  First when you earn it and then when you deposit it in a bank. Essentially taxing the more wealthy of the country.  Punishing them for their ability to earn and save money.  Sound familiar. If it doesn't then I refer you to recent tax laws recently passed under the Obama administration. When the death tax was raised.  Or when 600 billion in new taxes was authorized but almost no spending cuts were made. To be more accurate a ratio of 40 dollars in new taxes and $ 1.00 in the reduction of spending.

A similar situation is taking place in California. Where the tax deductions given to business to encourage new ideas and employment were suddenly rescinded. Even to the extent that monies or tax credits are to be charged back to those individuals or companies retroactively up to 5 years.. So that if they received an 8 percent tax credit. They now have been re-assessed to provide the full percentage. Some individuals and companies facing tax bills in the millions in the next few months. California reneging on their promise in order to pay for the outrages spending of the Government on entitlements. As well as union pensions and collective bargaining contracts with civil service employees. These overspending practices get the politicians of state government re-elected, but drive businesses and talent out of the state.  Sort of like cutting your own carotid artery.  The exodus from California of business has been going on for a long time. Reducing the amount of income the state has been able to collect. Yet the state legislature controlled almost entirely of democrats for many years just keeps on spending.  Why not ?  Al they have to do is raise taxes and extort businesses through unfair taxation. Killing the goose that lays the golden egg for the Golden State.

Is the apparatchik going crazy. Have they forgotten that 15 out of 19 of the people involved with the first 9/11 the second one being Bengazi, were from Saudi Arabia.  The State dept. has seen fit to give special travel considerations for Saudis coming to the U.S. Oh that is just peachy. In addition part of the of the deal gives the Saudis a say as to is "ok" and who is not "ok" to travel to the U.S.  That makes sense, or does it?  I can tell you know to this American it does not. Instead of removing layers that would enhance the ability to discover potential trouble. They have increased them.  The State Department in all their wisdom has made it easier to get here and do mischief.  From the same genesis that produced the terrorists the last time. Blowing up not only the WTC buildings, but the Penatagon and on the way to the W.H. and would have run a plane into that.  If it was not for brave souls that prevented it and died because of it.

You have to wonder who in the State Department is feathering their own nest. Either that or the State Dept. is truly filled with people who don't have a clue. Which has been suspected of them for a long time, but certainly now after the debacle and murders at Bengazi. The second 9/11. It goes to show the incompetence of the entire bunch of so called experts.I would like to commit to a more sinister reason, but I am not a conspiracy type person.  However the very idea that the bar is being lowered in our security procedures is troubling and naive on the part of the administration and  Mr. Kerry.  When will we stop allowing those who seemingly have not a wit of what is important to do, or not to do, remain in positions of policy making decisions.  That includes the present Sec of State Mr. Kerry. Who has been on the wrong side of issues thinking that nuance is the cure to all foreign policy difficulties.  Do we have a foreign policy is the next question.  Do we?  I do not think so and what ever is decided is done " flying by the seat of your pants".  Hillary was bad enough.  Mr. Kerry is worse. Much worse. At least Hillary never condemned our own troops, as Kerry has done. Janet Napolitano Director of DHS is not exempt from this folly.  She above all should be wary if she is actually doing her job and not just a puppet of the Obama administration.

When I read or hear of these side shows I am at the same time horrified and amused.  I wonder about the reports and try to get my hands on what ever is told or written.  My immediate sense is that there must be a valid and responsible reason for these types of actions. I have yet to find even one for this special travelers policy being extended to the land of the Wasabi.  Whose radical Islamic teachings find their home.  It is good to point out that our arch enemy Osama Bin Ladin  came from Saudi Arabia.  These policy changes are as crazy as an "out house rat".  If indeed we are forced into these kinds of deals because of oil. Then I suggest we start tomorrow to build the pipe line so we can independent from middle east and Saudi oil. That would be the obvious thing to do. Instead we open the door and depend on the Saudis to have a say in the process that is supposed to keep us safe.

 Now that Chris Rock has identified the President and Michelle as the country's Mom and Dad  I guess it would be safe to say they have locked their children out of their house. Using the sequester as the reason for cancelling White House tours until further notice. People who have been planing their spring break vacations centered around a visit to the nations capital. The White house being the focal point.  Have been shut out by what the White House has blamed on the Secret Service's lack of funds. The full amount of conducting the tours has never really been nailed down. Noting that the tours are conducted by volunteers. The only feed back from the Secret Service is that they couldn't afford the overtime costs. Why overtime, can't they provide security on straight time?  Jay Carney undercut the Presidents claim that the blame belongs on the backs of the Secret Service. Leading us to believe that he had nothing to do with it. Once again shifting the blame. According to J. Carney, the President signed off on it.

Now if we are to take Chris Rock at his word. The President is not only the dad of the country. " He is our Boss".  Then the Boss should have told the Secret Service to find a way to be able to accommodate his children.  Or, perhaps mom and dad should do some pre planning  for their children and let them in the house. Before going off on separate vacations. Maybe even skipping or cutting down on trips to Hawaii or where ever, in the future. After all, we all must sacrifice. Isn't that what he always says?  

Now you will always get the argument that Bush spent more. They leave out that the total was calculated over 8 years not less than 4 years. Also, they did not close the White House to the tax payers that provide the money to finance it.  Anyway who cares, give up the relative morality crap. It is so child like. Bush was the last President. He is no longer in charge. The buck stops at Mr. Obama's desk now.  I find it appalling that the only ones that are expected to sacrifice are those paying the tab. Then again Chris Rock never called President Bush and the First Lady, mom and dad. Or for that matter our "Boss".

The President had the opportunity to have flexibility as to how the cuts would be made. He refused it. He would not take the responsibility. In order not to look responsible for cuts and not to anger any particular dept. or parts of his base. So nothing gets done because of the political calculations that have to be made. Or perhaps it is true that the President would rather put everyone out and do the most to prove a point. To show that sequestration is indeed hurting them. Whether it has or will. The President is going to use things like cancelled tours. Or, National Parks being closed. Indeed instead of easing any discomfort he that occurs due to the sequester. He is going to use it like a club to what appears to be a form of punishment. 

The President should realize that it was incidents as trite as cancelling tours. In so doing disappointing the masses creating great mayhem and civill unrest has resulted. Sometimes a prelude to the killing of thousands of neighbors. The President should take this into consideration. It is not as far fetched as it may seem. It has happened in the past and probably will happen again. If the theory many have put forth is true. Then we have a severe problem for the next 4  years.  Obama's ideology has clouded any logical judgement he makes. I believe he is putting politics above the rights of the people who pay the bills. Also, those who do not.  If we don't correct the problem of debt there will be nothing left for anyone.  

Bronze Star Award for Power Points Not True.

Holding with the new philosophy that every kid gets a trophy on little league.  The defense dept. has now seen fit to bring that idea to the military.  The Bronze Star, the fifth highest award given to military combatants that exhibit valor.  Is now being presented to those military personnel that give power point presentations. Yes, the standing in front of audience is certainly dangerous. After all what if not everyone assembled in a well lit, air conditioned enclosure. Is not ready to accept what the presentor has in store.  Imagine if you will, that there is a heckler in the room. Or perhaps the next day an article in the newspaper will target him or her with a critical barb.  In the worst case senario a tomato could be thrown. Or worse yet, a cabbage. Yes, there can be no doubt it can get dicey.  The idea of someone having to bear the sweat that accumulates above their brow.  Or finding that the anti perspiration roll on, they applied in the morning leaves something to be desired.  Hands clammy with the anxiety of causing them to slip off the lap top keyboard is very real. 

A U.S. Air Force chaplain was one of those who had to deal with this dangerous predicament.  A fate worse than being blown up by an IUD.  Or a sniper bullet put squarely in between his eyes.  This was the conclusion of those awarding him the Bronze Star for facing the enemy. After all the possibility of PTS after the presentation has to always be considerd. 

The chaplin received this honored award for his presentation of how to deal with Islamic sensitivity training and how to dispose of Korans. This is ridiculous and brings political correctness to a new level of absurdity.  I quess we will now be giving out combat medals for valor in cleaning a latrine.  After all who can deny that putting your head so close to a toilet bowl can be dangerous. Indeed the threat of PTS is always on your mind.  So what is the big deal you may wonder.  You can dismiss it with the rational of the fact that the Noble Peace Prize is given to a President that had no credentials in initiating peace of any kind in any way shape or form.  It is truly sad when honored awards are given not for accomplishments.  Instead for ideology and political statements that suite the times and those awarding them.  It diminishes the value of the award and it's meaning. Not only to past recipients but for future ones as well.

Col John Trainer, a non denominational chaplin, were misleading at best.  I had previously deleted the published commentary I had written in response to Lt. Col West's letter to me.  I then decided to re- publish the commentary with this clarification. I further reccomend that all research this matter.

Congress Stops Kerry On His March to Enrich The Muslim Brotherhood.

Sec. Kerry has applied his self described skill of nuance. Before leaving  Egypt, Mr.  Kerry promised, and for all intensive purposes, will deliver aid in excess of $250 million dollars to Mr. Morsi, the Egyptian leader of the country. Who is and has been a leader representing the Muslim Brotherhood.  Who fully support and encourage the governing of the country according to Sharia law. Mr. Kerry had also promised a continuation of funds to follow that will exceed $1billion dollars. These monies, according to Sec. Kerry are a down payment and constitute the "good faith " of the United States as towards the Morsi  led Egyptian government.  Oh that's nice. This is an example of the way Kerry has always thought and in the maner he will continue to operate.  Showing his ongoing dedication and membership to the " blame America first crowd ". He did it in front of congress and in Paris as a naval officer and Viet Nam Veteran . He now will apply that way of thinking as Sec. Of  State.

So now that we know the intent of giving aid in the form of many millions of dollars as a show of good faith. The question remains, where is the showing of good faith by the Morsi government to human rights and democracy and a constitution that will encourage freedom and not Shiria law. When will Mr. Morsi stop the persecution of Coptic Christians who have been there for centuries. Or, stop supporting Hamas and other terrorist groups. In Mr. Kerry's view other countries don't have to show any intent of good faith and democratic initiatives.  It goes back to his basic liberal "assachucettes" mind set and European  boarding school elitist philosophy.  That the United States is the reason and cause for all that is wrong  in the world. So it is only right that WE the United States "show good faith". In an effort to show that we are engaged in that part of the world. What does Sec. Kerry think we have been doing in the last part of the 20th century and what we are doing now in the 21st century? How many billions must be spent and how much blood must be absorbed by the desert sand that has been spilled by young Americans?  To prove that we are engaged.

Excuse me Mr. Kerry. Was it not you who voted for a war that you later voted against. Isn't it you that encouraged the withdrawal of troops in Afganistan and Iraq.  In your mind do you think that shows engagement.  Now you want to show engagement again. Well that is par for the course for you.  In your private life you get engaged many times to many different women. Until you got the benefits of a bank balance you deemed  your arrogant suedo aristocratic Bean Town  position deserved. As in hundreds of millions of dollars of "catsup money". earned by Mr. Heinz and passed on to you through his Mozambique widow.

Well thank goodness that the House of Representatives has stopped our continued display of good faith to Morsi. Who should be showing his good faith to Americans who provide the money Kerry has been spreading around.  The Morsi government has done absolutely nothing to show he is not still connected to the Muslim Brotherhood.  Who have been intent on terror to destroy Isreal and their American allies. Persecute women who want to unchain themselves from the Islamic shackles that keep them as slaves.

This is just the start of the lop sided and inept attempt to mollify our enemies. While they go on in their quest to destroy our way of life and kill Americans.  Mr. Kerry will go on to undermine our strength by implementing a half ass foreign policy with his dedication to nuance. The European policy of,  " feeding the beast hoping that the beast will eat them last". It never worked for the Europeans and it will not work for us. Instead it will get us into more trouble and the loss of more Americans.  The Islamists and others who are our declared enemies will be uplifted and fueled by our inability to project a policy that is strong, steady and un yielding.  It is our duty to maintain a strong and resolute appearance. You can't do it by supplying money, Jet fighters and a pat on the head to those who have done everything possible to foment terror.

Collective Bargaining Makes Flying Unsafe.

T.S.A. Worker's  A.F.G.E  Has Got Us By  "The B. A. L. L. S."

That's right folks the Obama administration's TSA director has completed  negotiations that give the union that represents the TSA screeners, a collective bargaining contract. The contract, which will be in effect for three years. Is the first contract made with the TSA workers. Guess what?  The membership ratified it ten to  one.  Now isn't that a surprise...who would not want to work for the Feds?  Government union jobs are a plumb. The screeners have grabbed the brass ring. They intend to hold on to it.  No matter what it costs the flying public and tax payer.  One of the things it guarantees is to double the present uniform allowance given to TSA screeners. Since the present allowance included a  $ 50 million dollar price tag. Which would not have been touched due to sequestration.  I guess we can now expect that price tag to double.  Why do we pay for their work clothes ? Is someone paying for yours?  Probably not, and the IRS rule on deducting your suit and tie is an explicit NO.  Now this seems like a small and picky issue for some.  In the future it will probably viewed as such, compared to the other demands A.F.G.E  will on the T.S.A. will probably want to make down the line.  When contract negotiations come around again it three years. The idea of letting them unionize in the first place was bad enough. Giving them the right to have collective bargaining. It's like putting a small blade knife, to the throat of the traveling and tax paying public.

I think it will have been well to listen to the advice and hear the warnings of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  Who thought that it was a bad policy to allow public service employees to unionize. Thus giving too much leverage when it came to serving or not serving the public.  The power thus curtailing the government to ensure the smooth operation of any and all government agencies.  President G.W. Bush knew enough to heed F.D.R's advice. The Obama administration has not. The ability to negotiate contracts through the process of collective bargaining can be dangerous for the public's safety, especially to airline travelers.

A case in point is one that occurred to our friends across the border in 2006.  When  Toronto airport inspectors chose to meticulously and slowly inspected passengers baggage in order to back up the entire system.  The result of which, was the necessity for airport officials to under inspect the baggage. Or not inspect them at all to get the system untied and running again. This is union tactic that is used to pressure opposing negotiators to become more flexible in favor of the unions demands. 

In the event a union is prevented to strike by law. They go to extremes to perform their jobs.  In double doting the I's and double crossing the T's they avoid breaking the law or previous contract.  It is a common tactic used by the unions on construction jobs. Preventing deliveries by contractors and suppliers to the site.  The union checks every detail of the vehicles safety regulations. To the degree of turning away vehicles that have a low or over inflated tire of a difference of 1 psi.  Holding up the entire job and running up the bill of the project. This is reverse extortion.  It works to the unions advantage almost always.

The contract with the TSA workers does have provisions that prohibit strikes by the employees. As we all know there is more than one way to skin a cat.  As evidenced in Toronto's airport.  The hypothetical is that what if they had done this on a continuous basis. The situation the being transmitted to a terror group or nut case seeking to cause havoc and deaths. Would anyone want to take that chance?  I think not.  Especially the government.  Thus having no choice but to capitulate to union demands.

I and others who lived in N.Y.C then. Can testify to the fact that even when it is unlawful to do so. Public service employee unions have called strikes. Resulting in the work stoppage of New York City's sanitation department. Garbage was piled up on the streets for weeks. Making it a city of vermin infestation and invasion. Rats and mice ran rampant in the streets. Spreading disease and other health threats throughout.

Of course let us not forget the transit strike of 1966.  A situation that incarcerate the head of the the Transit Workers Union, Mr. Quill.  Striking for pay parody. The city was at a stand still.  People spending most of their working hours trying to get to and from work. Office buildings setting up cots for employees who had to stay over many nights. Away from their spouses and children who needed support and protection.  Or the sick outs of police and fire depts.  Putting the people and other union employees in danger by reducing  the amount of , " hands on deck" in any given situation.

So now you and I will be subject to the next demands of the union that represents the T.S.A. screeners. Of which there are 44,000. Right now the demands are reasonable. That is the first contract.  Now let us see what the next contract will demand and then the next and the next. Remember the goal of a union and the reason for their existence is to garner more and more concessions for their members. So where does that leave us? As I usually suggest to my readers. Use your imagination folks. I believe you can figure out where this is going.

TSA Says Small Knives Ok On Planes.

 

 Small Knives Ok , How About Small Guns ?

The TSA will now allow small knives on planes.  Why would everyone be so concerned about multi round ammunition clips? When not concerned about small knives on a plane. That when held to the throat of a passenger endanger the lives of hundreds.  Oh, I get it. Just one more thing to blame on sequestration.  Yeah, that's the ticket. After all isn't that one of the reasons we could not cut a miniscule amount of increase out of the budget.  A measly $ 85 billion in the rate of increase out of a $ 3.5 Trillion budget.  If anything happens the White House can blame it on those, " Wascally Webublicans ".  So now along with over one thousand illegals, among them criminals ranging from fraud and con artists to home invaders. We create more threats to the American people. All under the excuse of  "sequestration".

A small knife. Supposedly that is nothing to worry about.  It is just a little itty bitty blade.  An itty bitty blade that can be held to the exposed carotid artery, of the passengerr next to the wack job that has it.  "Causing injury: Stabbing is always very dangerous - wherever the wound. While you might not think it would seriously injure someone to stab them in the arm or the leg, they could die as a result". 

What is the definition of a weapon?  That is easily answered by the Dept. of Justice that is slowly but surely taking on the name of Dept of Injustice under Erick Holder.  Knives are listed as a weapon.  A small knife is all you need to cause an awful lot of damage. Oh, I see small knives are ok.  Well all things being equal and relative. What would you call a small knife if it is used on a small child?  I can bet you the chicken I killed this morning with my small knife. For my dinner tonight.  It becomes a very big knife. Suddenly you find that the small knife when held up into the nostril of your nose takes on a different appearance. It becomes as big as a Bowie knife and can make you do lots of things you would not do. It transforms itself into an instrument that can be very convincing.  Ask someone has had to give up their wallet while being threatend with a small pocket knife. "  I can personally attest to that situation.  One I had to endure. Then barely escaping with my belly still intact. Hey, it was only a box cutter.

The logic of this decision is not to be believed. The operative word here is knife. Not, small, or pocket.  The weapon used on the first 9/11 was a box cutter.  It leaves us with the question.  Is this one of the ways the W.H. is going to make a point? Excuse the pun. To make a proficy become reality. That would make the outrages claims by Mr. Obama and cabinet secretaries " that the sky would fall ", because of sequestration.  Is this a set up for possible impending disaster just so they can say. " I told you so ".? It fits right in with the " socialist mentality and credo that the "ends justify the means".

Sen Rand Paul, Filabusters the Old Way

Sen. Rand Paul, A Man with Grit.

I could use up my time writing about the sequester. I don't think I have to. We all now know, except for those who don't want to know.  How devious and dishonest the President is. Instead I will write about a man who is truly a patriot. The Senator from Kentucky, Rand Paul. son of  Congressman, Dr. Ron Paul of the great state of Texas.  Sen. Paul is a man amongst the "crawl on your belly" element that we have been subjected to observe, in Washington. Standing up today and doing what past generations have been taught to expect from our elected officials in government.

One of the few in the Senate that has been holding on to get clarification on Bengazi. Not accepting " circle talk " on matters that witnesses do not want to give definitive answers on.  Usually requiring a simple yes or no.  He seems to be the only one that is absolutely dedicated to the Constitution and the founders intentions. To protect the people from the government and not the other way round. As it seems to be evolving each and everyday that the Obama Justice Dept., State Dept. etc:  continue to muddle and twist and turn the very document that is the reason for our existence.

He is now still speaking as I write this commentary. Trying very hard to maintain what so far as been an initiated move of filabustering. In order to bring attention on the idea that the govt. has the right to kill American citizens in the United States. Without benefit of the rights they have inherited under the Constitution. He is right to observe that this is only one of the rights that the present administration is seeking to eliminate in it's ultimate quest for unbridled power.

The liberal Supreme Court has already usurped the right of eminent domain. The Second Amendment to keep and bear arms is next on the list.  Now the rights of citizens to go through the process of the judicial system is on the line.  The rights of privacy has already been shredded and compromised. Drones that the government has ordered by the thousand will now be looking at you from above. Very closely I might add. Now the threat of the President making a decision of who lives or dies.  By simply putting his thumb up or down is almost a reality.  Along comes a man who in my opinion is a true patriot.  A Ronald Reagan, who thinks of the country and  protecting and defending the Constitution.  Rand Paul is not someone who fiddles while Rome burns. He tries to put out the fire that will consume us all. I think he is well on his way to doing that with this heroic and unselfish exibition of true loyalty to the principals that have made this country great.

Dennis Rodman Exibits Intelligence.. duh.

Yeah, let's take his assessments seriously

Rodman, physically a giant. Mentally, a dwarf


 ....Dennis Rodman now joins the ranks of notables. Including Sean Penn, Oliver Stone, Hanoi Jane Fonda,  Congress Women, Sheila Jackson Lee, and Maxine Waters.  Some how Dennis Rodman found his way to N.Korea with the Harlem Globe Trotters.  So what ? May be the reaction from some as to the fact that he went to N.Korea.  I would be included in that group of people. Travel is no doubt part and parcel of  a person's constitutional right to travel when, how and where you want. As long as national security is not endangered by your movements. I am all for that.

The fact that he took the trip is no skin off my nose.  Or that he wore a wedding dress once to help sell his book. In addition, he certainly has the right to wear all sorts of ornaments in his nose, ears, eyelids, eyeballs, lips and fore skin of his penis if he has that.  Anything you can do to take away from the ugly features that God cursed you with is in play.  The plea by many of " why couldn't you make me rich instead of handsome".  Is a sentence he can never emit, with out getting a second look by those listening.  I am sure it would solicit an under the breath remark. Such as,  "God did ". That being said. I will get on with what really burns my ass. It ain't a fire three feet high up the leg of my pants.

These celebrities that find the need to extol the virtues of  leaders like Castro, Chavez and  Un and their dictatorial rule. Who  have ravaged, starved and murdered tens of thousands. In some cases millions. To project and maintain their power.  Is mind boggling.  Many times comparing these leaders and countries to politics and social justice to that of the United States of America, is just plain folly.  Does Mr. Rodman think that person he described as awesome, would allow the free comings and goings  in and out of N. Korea   A fair assessment to that question would of course be no.  What is the motivation of their misguided declarations of exaltation for these contemptible individuals. Who, as we know to be true, allow no chance for an individual to speak their minds. Or have any of the rights we as Americans and people of many contries enjoy. Dennis Rodman reported that a dinner was held for the group he was a part of. It was hosted by Un.  It was a lavish dinner with many toasts and great food in abundance. While all indications and reports  have stated that the greater population is starving. Famine is a very real occurrence, leading to reports of cannibalism of children by their own parents. 

Many reasons are sited for N. Korea's plight.  One of which is the fact that it is the last Stalinist state in the world. Others are that it has been cut off from the world.  Russia no longer supplies them with petroleum to provide electricity. Along with the other things needed to provide the means to enable successful farming. Following the political ideology of a communist system. All planing is done and managed by the state.

Human rights do not exist in countries like N. Korea, Cuba and Venezuela. Information and technology is almost non-existent without government sanctions.  Yet that seems not to bother these celebrities that ignore these horrible facts. In N. Korea thousands are in secret prisons. Celebrities like Rodman will sanction these prisons by saying that America also has prison such as these. Or, rationalise the practice in some ill logical and ridiculous manner.  Declaring that the capitalist system and freedom is the culprit of all that is wrong in the world.  The very system that has allowed them to attain riches that are out of reach to all but a few. Why ? In Rodman's case and of other celebrities, because they play a sport or a character in a movie.  The people of N. Korea are kept in the dark. A free flow of information is prohibited. There is no access to the internet in N. Korea. Cell phones are practically non existent. If they exist at all. The energy of the government has been proven to be directed to testing of nuclear weapons and their delivery systems.  Not only for themselves, but also to supply the technology to others in the world like Iran's. That they will threaten to use against other countries. On the top of the list is the United States.

So now that Mr. Rodman has declared the leader of  N. Korea's leadership awesome. I guess we can ignore what he represents and the policies of Kim Jung Un, his father and grandfather. Now just to be focused on getting Mr. Obama to call N.Korea's leader. After all they have a lot in common. They both love basket ball.  According to Dennis that is all you need to do Mr. Obama. Yes, Rodman has told the wonderful leader of N. Korea he has made a friend for life. Today the N. Korean leader has warned he will declare the armistice signed between the combatants of the Korean Police Action (war).  Null and void. Yeah, real awesome  Looks Like Rodman was led around by one of those rings in his nose. Or is that a bone?
