Gee, I thought I heard those words before. Let's see could it be in the aftermath of a Columbine. Or, the shooter in Dallas some years ago snipping from a college clock tower. Picking off the unsuspected as they walked across a college campus.  Or perhaps that guy that hid in the trunk of a car while his accomplice drove around the D. C. area.  Everyone starts hollering. We must control guns to control the violence. What a barrel of monkey dung. You control violence by controlling the violent, the mentally afflicted, the criminal. Not by controlling the legally armed citizen.  All of these advocates of gun control are diverting from the fact that mental health facilities have been closing one by one. We don't keep the mentally deranged where they belong, because of laws that make it almost impossible to do so.  The ability to treat those who we knew were not well are undercut either by laws or funds.  In state after state they close mental facilities. In Florida they now put these people in nursing homes with the elderly. 
Hollywood Right There
Then the Hollywood crowd comes out.  Always with their pie in the sky irrational logic.  Beating the drum of how bad guns are and how that is the reason for a violent America. Give me a break. We see the stuff you create to make a buck. I have never seen one Hollywood actor or director or what have you.  Make a gun shoot if it is not to destroy or kill or make a person suffer.  Hey, Mr. or Ms. actor. you salivate for those parts that will make you a star or increase the size of your Mansion in Hollywood.  You fight for those parts. Now don't say it ain't so, because we know it is so.  You have got your own guns.  Or have someone very near you or your children that have one.  Hollywood you are not the solution. You are part of the problem. Perhaps that is why you are always so eager to point your finger in another direction.  This is not a movie. The violence you act in or produce,  direct or pay for.  What you depict in your entertainment product is real for some people. They like it and want to emulate what it is you do. Even if it is kissing a water buffalo on it's testicles. You are their heroes and  sex symbols. They want to do what you do in the movies. They want to be like the persons you play act. In essence a lot of them want their name in lights on a marque. For others to swoon over,  fawn over and love. Just like you do. Not so odd really.  Unfortunately they are not in control. They go out of control. With your help Mr. and Ms. Entertainment person.

Then there are those holier than thou liberal politicians again with the pie in the sky irrational logic. Logic so convaluted that I sometimes think they are mentally ill.  But they are not.  They just want to be in front of  the camera to show how concerned they are.  How they will be the standard bearers of civility and eliminating that piece of machinery that will make all their constituents happy.  So that they can be elected again and again and again.  Not caring a wit about who lose their rights in the process. Or who become victims of gun violence without the ability to defend themselves. Meanwhile ask these scions of civility where their kids go to school and who protects them and do they have guns.  Yes, ask these guys and ladies. Senators like Feinstien who is probably surrounded by protection. Who actually carries a gun.  She is the second richest woman in congress. Do you think she has a bodyguard with a gun?  If she does not.  Then she is stupid or crazy and does not belong in any position of responsibility.  What are you going to say when someone is killed because you made it impossible to get a firearm.  Oh I know the answer to that  All you have to do is say you take responsibility think  it will just go away.  That technique seems to be working lately for dems and the media. Especially Hillary Clinton.

Do these people live on the same planet as all of us. Where danger is all around. Not only from mentally ill but from terrorists, criminals, governments out of control who want oppress their own. Or are they so comfortable in their little bubble worlds.  All safe and sound. Until like Gabby Gifford who was shot along with others killed by a nut. A mentally ill person. Not a gun, but a mentally ill person with no political agenda or other reason than that of being sick. Every one of these cases of mass shootings has been not by a reasonable person. Not by a law abiding citizen.  In some cases, not even someone who has an ability to get a gun legally.  Stop with the laws already. We have enough laws. It is time to enforce the laws we have and let the people who feel safe in having what ever gun they want to have.  It is their right to be able to defend themselves as best they can. Not only from criminals but from oppressive governments as well.  Like Dr Susan Gratia-Hass testified.  The 2cd amendment is not about duck hunting it is about defending our selves from you. Pointing to those on the committee. Meaning the Government and possible oppression by an out of control government.

Letter: Irresponsible Spending by Government is a Moral Issue

I have never felt so good. Think about it kids. You are going to pay and pay and pay. That's right and do you know who you are paying for ?  People like me and many others of the older generation.  We have a 16.5 trillion dollar debt. Guess what kids ? It is rising and future generations will have to pay it down.  At present it looks like there is no end in sight.  At the very least in 10 years at the present rate it will  be over 22 Trillion dollars.Think about the interest on such an amount. Never mind the principal. That is pennies when all is said and done.This man in the White House and the liberal voting block in the Senate. Will not even consider spending as the problem. They are leading you down the garden path to poverty.  It is impossible to sustain what is unsustainable. All to appeal to the basic human failings of wanting something for nothing.  In order to expand the government until you have no identity as an individual. Thus stripped of human dignity and self worth.

The present policies that will cause future generations to pay the massive debt that is accumulating is folly. This kind of debt can not be paid in my life time your life time or any other life time. This kind of debt creates a vortex that drags down those who engage themselves in this irresponsible behavior. Supporting it or ignoring it will drag you down to where the perpetrators of it want you to be.  The recent claim that more taxes from the rich will enable us to pay down this monster that has been created. Is false and specious. Let me put in perspective what a trillion dollars is.  If I were to tell you to spend a million dollars at a 1000 dollars a day. It would take you a bit more than two years to do so. If you were to ex hast, by spending a  thousand dollars a day, a billion dollars. It would take you 2000 years to exhaust that sum.  If you were asked to do the same with a trillion dollars.  It would take 200,000 years. That is what a trillion is. It is an outrages sum. We hear the word Trillion so much that we are becoming desensitised.

Recent increases in taxes for the so called rich does nothing for  what is needed realistically.  It is a political gimmick and overly worn platitude. It won't be long before the middle class will be included in that defining platitude. This is definitely not the answer.  We must cut spending and act responsibly. Over and over this President has been told and advised to curb and cut spending.  The Simpson Bowles Commission. A bi partisan commission that he picked has been ignored and it's findings place aside not to be even considered.  Recently we have bee privy to understanding why. The President has stated that he does not think there is a spending problem. Neither does his recent nominee for the treasury. Whom among us in their logical and cognizant mind could entertain such a thought.  Do you?  So I want to say thank you ahead of time. To all of you young folk and your future off spring for allowing me to live off he fruits of your labors for many years to come. Suckers.

 Sen. Harkin, ( D)  of Iowa, announced he will not seek re-election in 2014. Well that is nice. Especially in light of the fact that he has been there for 5 terms. By my calculations it adds up to. Let's see, 30 years.  Thirty years as an elected public official and never been credibly challenged. I don't know about you but I think that is a long time to milk a cash cow. Which as we all know is another name for the U.S. Government and the lobbyists on K Street.  Nice going Mr. Harkin.   Nice going. He is leaving with a 2.7 million dollar war chest. You can bet that he won't be leaving that behind.  Of course there was a law past some many long years ago that prevented personal use of those campaign funds. When you retired from office. With the exception being that if you were in congress prior to the law being passed. In other words the, " rule that you could take it with you". was grandfathered in. Which Rep. Steve Solarz from Brooklyn took advantage of while still having a sum in excess of 1 million dollars in his political war chest.  Back when a million dollars was a million dollars. Quite a sum in those days. That being said.  As we all  know money is fungible and can be earmarked in any way and usually is. So even though you can not use it for personal reasons you can use it for others that are enumerated by the law. In other words the law makers provided loop holes for themselves. Seeing that most of congress are lawyers the law was made by lawyers for lawyers. Complaining about it, is like beating a dead horse. It will never change. Some things have to be accepted as an axiom.

Ok, so what about Mr. Harkins parting shot. Mr. Harkin proposed a new way that would help to insure that future retirees would have more to retire on. Thus helping to see them through the " golden years". Take it from me they ain't so golden for a lot of them right now.  This would entail some kind of annuity payment racked up with private investment companies.  This plan would not exclude present 401k type retirement plans.  It would offer an option.  Now on it's face it looks like a good idea. As we all know the devil is in the details.  Hey, I am for anything that helps the situation.  As it now exists.

What troubles me is that for someone that is all for this type of change. Why does the democratic party demonize any changes that were proposed by President Bush and others before him that wanted to do something similar to Social Security. Which would have allowed a measly sum of 5 cents of every dollar collected from social security payments invested into private investments.  Why should Social Security be subject to total government regulation that inhibits the growth of your contributed dollar. Tell me that Mr. Harkin. It is a subject that we have never been able to have an open conversation about because opposition to it by people like Mr. Harkin have prevented. It is often call the 3rd rail of politics. Why is that so?  What was Mr. Bush's proposal called reckless. It was a way to add to your Social Security retirement dollar.  The only reason I can think of is that it would inhibit the general fund of raiding the social security trust fund. Which it does present. Denying Washington control of as much money as they can possibly get their hands on.  Loosing any control, even as small as  5 % of the total funds available. Is like getting a seizure for these guys.  Fact is we need some more thinking like Mr. Harkins directed towards the question of reforming Social Security as it is presently structured.  That is not to say Mr. Harkins idea is not a good one. On the contrary. Perhaps it can be applied to another retirement plan as well.  Namely, Social Security. I would urge everyone to investigate his swan song proposal.  After 30 years he must have at least some knowledge of what he is talking about.

OK, now I am sick of this crap. I am so angry I could spit nickels out of a mouthful of dimes. A protester yelled to John Kerry her disgust at the way the Americans meddle in the middle east.  Thus resulting in what is becoming a bigger mess than before. Not withstanding, whether you voted before for the war in Iraq or against it. Or even if you voted for it and then against it as Mr. Kerry did. So much for holding your finger in the air to feel the shifting wind.  No it doesn't matter much what I write here. It should be noted that beyond anything else. We enabled the Iraqis the ability to choose their own government. Then to elect those they choose.  Now last time I heard the T.V. Mr. Obama has always been praised for supporting the Arab spring and the Libyan revolution.  Unfortunately Mr. Bush is not honored with the same accolades when it comes to this piece of history.

This however is not about the middle east. It is about the answer that John Kerry gave,  making an inference to his testimony in 1971 before congress. How he could possibly refer to it as a positive moment stretches credulity. The setting in itself was lurid and foreboding and hard to watch. Before Congress and the American people he accused U.S. forces of war crimes. Critical of the U.S. and accusing the military as baby killers while in Paris at a meeting with the North Viet Namese. Our enemy. While boots were still on the ground. This is unforgivable. His actions and actions of a similar nature especially when wearing the fatigues of a U.S.Naval officer. Which is in every sense of the word an official uniform.  ARs  are specific in that any part of the uniform worn identifies you as a member of the U.S. military if you are part of that military. He was a reserve officer at a time of war. That bit of theater prolonged the war ,it did not shorten it or make easier to negotiate for the U.S. That were going on between the Nixon administration and the North Vietnamese .That's right the Democrats started that war and  escalated it with never a will to win it. The Republicans ended it just like Eisenhower did the Korean War. 

Lt. Kerry's act was a despicable act. In addition, the reference was to a question he asked to those assembled at the time. " How can you tell the last man to die" in a war.  This is philosophical question that has been up for debate by philosophers for decades. It can't be answered by some of the greatest minds. The question I ask him is how can you tell the first man to die. It can't be answered satisfactorily.  The variables prevent it.  The best part was when he deflected everything by directing the conversation to Mc Cain and put him in position of answering about the refugee camps he visited recently.  Sharp as a tack. A lawyers trick. Takes the spotlight off Kerry who first voted for the Iraq War. Along with the members of congress and the senate. Including Hillary Clinton.  At the time information and suspicions made it ok to be  asked " the first to die". It was the popular thing to do. Mr. Kerry is an opportunist of the worst kind.  Changing his, mind which he had a right to do. Was done when you had different circumstances. Also, as his track record shows. It enjoyed less popular support. His argument was as hollow then as it is now. What makes you, Mr. Kerry, so smart to know everything ? If you know everything, you ain't told no one yet. You have been a Senator for a long time. Too damn long. 

Now this narcissist opportunist has been catapulted to the level of Sec.of State. Typical of the Obama presidency the people most against their own country are in charge of foreign policy. After all who can possibly believe that Mr. Obama is pro American.

I am sorry to say that I was witness to the testimony of Hillary Clinton this morning. Besides the fawning over her by Senate Democrats. Who asked every question but those that pertained to why the hearing was held in the first place.  They pointed out time and again how she traveled to 100 hundred countries. Ok that was nice.  The question is what if anything did she accomplish?  The way I see it. Absolutely nothing she could possibly point to as worthwhile or justify the amount of airplane fuel expended.  The entire mid east is blowing up in our face. The Al Queda is everywhere. More intense than before.  North Africa is a powder keg with Mali, Algeria and Lybia. going to the dogs. Egypt is under Muslim Brotherhood rule.  Her answers went like this. Well we have to do something to ..... Yeah, that is what you were supposed to be doing.... something.

Her answers to Senators asking her the pertinent questions were like listening to a school kid say I'm sorry I will do better next time.  Please don't tell my mom.  She sounded like Sgt. Shultz. " She kept saying we didn't know". When facts and reports tell us she should have known.  If she didn't why not ? Isn't it her job to know. Then begging off by saying she didn't want to step on any ones toes when it came to asking questions of the survivors of the attack. Since when did Hillary Rodham Clinton become afraid to step on someones toes ? Hell she has stepped on more toes with her stubby 1 inch high heels than a porcupine has quills. The obfuscation was sicking to watch. I almost expected her to say, " it depend on what the word is. is".  This performance brought me back a few years when her hubby, Bubba Clinton lied to a federal judge. The only thing that made his performance better was that he bit his lip.

 I have to hand it to Sen. John McCain. Not usually one of my favorites. He took her to task and was not subtle in his rebuke of all she tried to put over. He is truly a patriot and told it like it is. He symbolically pulled her by her hair and dragged her all over the room.  The Sen. from Kentucky, Rand Paul put a question to her about arms to Turkey and she was not aware of it. Although it was all over the papers and raised a stir at the time. By the way the Ambassador at the time of his death was with the Turkish envoy.  This arrogant and contemptible woman went on to argue that it didn't matter that four Americans were dead as long as we go forward with fixing what went wrong. It is obvious what went wrong. They lied in order to maintain support for the Obama claim that Al Queda was  on the run.  I am now getting ready to watch her performance in front of the House. I will get back to you. To tell you about The second chapter in what I believe will be an extensive look into her incompetence and utter failure as SoS. 
Once Again They Want To Blame Republicans
I am writing this as I watch the comedy unfolding. Again the democrats are blaming the Republican congress.  Not providing enough funds. When it was the testimony of one of the top people of the State Dept. who said funding was not the problem. So far from 2010 to 2012 the State Dept. has been awarded over 5  billion dollars for the protection and rebuilding of Embassies.  Madame Clinton's testimony is just Mumbo Jumbo. It blatantly shows. To anyone who has the least bit of sense. Her testimony and answers to questions amounts to. How the State Dept. "will now lock the barn door after the horses are stolen". This is insane. The question is why was security withdrawn even after the State Dept was warned of the changing environment.  Protection that was being provided for at no cost to the State Dept. by the DOD. The answer from Madame, I don't know.  Tell me what the hell does she know ? This is a woman that is being praised for her million miles of travel.  But what did she do.? Are any of those countries she visited any better off ? The answer is no.  As a matter of fact the Al Queda is proliferating.  The Rep. from the island of Samoa had the nerve to wish her luck in 2016. Talk about politics and bias. It is well that he does not have a vote.

She keeps on saying that she said. " it  was a terrorist attack the next day".  Conveniently leaving out that she blamed it on a video by some guy in California. The amazing thing about this is how they are saying the congress did not provide enough money. The Democrats think that if you throw money at it the problem  it will  be solved.  It is not the amount of money, but how that  money is used.  It is like the war on poverty and The Great Society which turned out to be a flawed and phoney society That started in 1965 ,  still there is poverty.  Fifty years later there are more people on food stamps than any other time.  Spent 1 Trillion on education and still kids can't read the diplomas they get.  When is there ever enough money for these people to do the job they are paid to do ? I can't go on. It is ridiculous to go on, This is a disgusting example of how far we have let these blood suckers go to deflect and cloud the American peoples mind.  This is a crime.  In closing I must report that her answer to a question of why she refused to go on shows instead of Susan Rice. " I prefer to do other things on Sunday .   Casey Stengle,  once said  to the Met's baseball team that he managed for a short while. " Does anybody here know how to play this game".  Oh yeah in this case they know how to play the game. It is to take the money and run.

He is not a conservative and not a liberal.  He is not a diplomat or a man of the world. He is not a chef at a restaurant or a hamburger flipper you see. He is not any of those. Or can he be. Not a world class swimmer or a nose with a hose. A man of the cloth or a man of the sea. Sailor he can never be.

No my friends he is the President of the United States. Fifty one percent of Americans polled by Rasmunsen say he is the most powerful man in the world.  I disagree. He is the most dangerous man in the world. Why, because he is an idealist. Irrational, arrogant and immovable. That is what this man who now occupies a seat that has been occupied by many before and hopefully many after, is. By his very description an unreachable man of little reason and inflated ego. Character wise, he is an empty balloon.  His ego artificially inflated by an estate that has no shame. That estate is called the journalistic press and media. Who have abrogated their responsibilities of simply reporting, who,what,where and when and sometimes why, to create a fad. That group is fickle and has no loyalties except to selling advertising and market share of the viewing and listening public.

When all is said and done and the gilt is off the glitter they will go after him like they have so many others.  His demise and slide from popularity will be long and rocky. Those same T. V. anchors with their dolled up faces that are farded with  pounds of make up and the right lighting angles. Who slid off their seats just speaking his name because of the wetness that developed between their thighs. The male anchor men who felt a tickle up their legs. Will desert him as they have so many others in their world of fads and loosely held principals and beliefs. It is indeed a long way down.  Let us hope that the damage to us all will be tempered and short lived. Yes my friends there is no business like show business.  Obama is a master at it with the help of Hollywood and the mainstream media.......

Did I hear the word transparency.  Not in the Obama administration.  The promised transparency we were promised by Mr. Obama has not materialized. The Obama administration is the least transparent of all of the last four Presidents.  Law suits to force them to provide information has been stonewalled at an incredible rate. Erick Holder's directive for all departments to upgrade regulations has been all but ignored and Mr. Holder has done almost nothing to impose the mandate issued in 2009.  In fact he has defended agencies in their efforts not to provide information. FOIA law suits against government agencies during the Obama administration has risen in Obama's first term in office over 28% . Suits against the State Dept. alone has risen over 111%. The percentage of lawsuits to get information that was denied by the EPA rose by 60%..  The Dept. of Justice has had a 50 percent increase in law suits filled against them for refusing to provide information under an Act passed in 2007 that requires agencies to provide information. To those requesting it.

Transparency to the Obama administration means telling you what they want you to know. Or, what you want to hear. The top cop in the administration, Mr. Holder is the charged with enforcement of the law. He does nothing to make sure that it is implemented by the agencies required to do so. Transparency is non existent and enforcement of these laws and mandates is not on the priority list. Putting Erick Holder in charge of the Justice Dept, is like putting the fox in the hen house. When denial of information becomes routine you know there is an awful lot they don't want you to know.

This is becoming not a Government for the People and by the People, but rather for Obama and by Obama.  The very thing that keeps this country free is the ability to gather information and report it to the ones who pay the bills. The American taxpayer and citizen. The constant refusal to provide information is a ruse to confuse and confound.  First and foremost to providing honest government is accountability. If the public does not know what is going on behind the closed doors of the D.C bureaucracies then how can we have accountability?  The Obama machine has done quite the opposite of what Mr. Obama said he would do. Why is that? You figure it out... I am sure you will.

This guy is the modern day Lenin, Marx, Engles, Francisco Franco, Mussolini, Chavez all rolled up into one. This is the terrorist of terrorists. His methods of terrorism are simple, but destructive just the same. Create a crises. Convince the people that he is not to blame. Point his finger at anyone or organization that he chooses. Then use the journalistic community to Identify, Isolate and Destroy.  A lesson well learned from Sol Aulinski, radical thinker and anti-American, anti-capitalist. He is doing what he said he would do and set it up very nicely. Like a good tennis player always rushing the net.

The American public allowed it and now we have a President that has shown himself at every turn as arrogant and a squanderer of  tax payer dollars. As he transforms America into a debtor nation.  That is economic terrorism. Much like Gen. Giap who said that the Viet Cong and N. Vietnamese would defeat America in the streets of N.Y. and Washington. This man will defeat the capitalist system and America by raiding the treasury. Why you may ask would anyone want to do such a thing as an American, suspect or not. Well have you ever thought about the suicide bombers that blow themselves up.  Ideology can be a religion to some and they are willing to go to any lengths to prove and institute their ideology.  There is something sinister about this man and many of us feel it in our bones. He will go on now to institute his policy of transformation.  Transformation to what, has never been defined.  I am afraid to know what is really in his head.

Notice how his cohorts in the main stream media have supported and caused confusion in and around every issue he should be addressing. Bengazi for instance was the story of a century but was covered and muted.  Mr. Obama danced around it like Fred Astair. Obama makes Heinz, Heinz and Dad look like a solo act. Gene Kelly is a dancing school student. The famous prize fighter who was known for his foot work, Billy Conn. Would have looked like a punch drunk pug compared to him. There are serious and mystical forces at work here.  Think about it. How does someone with all the negatives that he had in the first term survive and go on to win an election.  High un-employment, a debt as high as an elephants eye. Continuing budget deficits. A16 trillion dollar debt with more to come. Lack of leadership any time things get hairy. How you may ask can this be possible. The answer is simple and disappointing. In some ways devastating.

We have fallen prey to a media we created and built to a super science. Encompassing our thoughts and leading them in the direction they want to go.  A form of brain washing. Not by what they tell us but rather by what they don't tell us.  A massive filter made of silk suits and slick anchor men. Of dolled up fairly ladies that obscure the truth with tricks and gimmicks. Almost like the hidden persuasion tactics of the slimy ad executives of Madison Ave. in the 50's. Putting out what they want you to know and slanting the rest. This is not new. It is a tactic tried and true. Walter Cronkite, once voted the most trusted man in America admitted before he died that nothing he reported was through an objective lens. Rather it was reported to be slanted towards his liberal left wing ideology. Dan Rather, a man who came into our living rooms was finally caught in obscuring and even part of reporting false hoods as to G.W.'s national guard service.

I myself witnessed the left just touching the foul line but not exactly crossing it every time a report was made as to opposing  the Viet Nam War. How the soldiers were demonized and hated just for doing their jobs. How the left prevented the winning of that war and caused it to go on and on. Causing more casualties with their film cameras and microphones than any massive force of the enemy could ever have accomplished.  This is the enemy at hand. The minions and cadre that Obama and the left have used and continue to use. To break down the idea of American exceptional ism.  Now they are working on the Constitution.  Do not be surprised when at the end of the second term, Mr. Obama will seek a third.

White House Picks Winners    


Here is another good couple of picks for Sec.of  Treas,  Jack Lew. Yeah, here is a guy who does not think we have a spending problem. Obama's chief of staff. Is a real winner. But only when it comes to himself and his own self interest. A real Mr. Banker that is connected to City Group. He benefited from the bank bail out. City was one of the five big banks that was set up in the Dodd Frank amendment that would never be allowed to fail. The CEOs of those banks are registered Democrats of which Lew is one. Looks like the Democrats have more to do with the money men than those mean rascally Republicans. I only have to surmise that he counseled the President on the budget the President submitted to the Senate that could not garner even a single vote. What kinds of clowns are running the circus.

Next we have Mr Brennen who at the moment is Obama's national security advisor. This is the guy that can't explain what happened in Libya and how Bengazi got under the radar. This guy was asked about riots and disturbances in London some time ago by reporters and had a blank stare on his face. The liberal press was embarrassed. Especially since even the low info voter knew all about it. I guess he will come under the Peter Principal philosophy. A Philosophy that promotes you not in spite of the incompetence you demonstrate. So get ready folks. You guessed it Obama's chooses him to be the Director of the CIA.

.... and the nominees are. 1. Chuck Hagel  for Secretary of Defense.  2. John Kerry for Sec. Of  State. I like to call him the " Sen, Nuance".  He nuanced himself into a $ 200 million dollar fortune by marring rich women and dumping each one of them for another richer woman.  The man has been eating at other men' s tables since his youth growing up in France. He did not attend schools here in the U.S. until he attended Yale.  He served in Viet Nam. A fact that he felt the need to remind us all of,  time after, time, after time, during his run for President. He lost thank God. Or you would not have had a terror free four year term. 1. His philosophy is one of nuance.  Nuance is just another term for not having the courage of saying it hard and true.  A diversionary tactic that is hollow and meaningless, but covers your ass.  2. He has adopted the European philosophy of. "Keep feeding the beast and hope that he will eat you last".  An appeaser.   3. Appeared in front of Congress, and accused our troops of atrocities in Viet Nam further undermining them . 4. Met with North Vietnamese and Viet Cong in Paris while we still had boots on the ground in Viet Nam.  A move that even he has admitted is an act close to treason.  Also,  against the law. Even for a private citizen. Much less some one who was still a commissioned reserve officer.  5. He has still not proven that the purple hearts awarded to him were indeed deserved.  6. His accounts of his wounds and how he received them is still questioned by many who served with him.  He discarded his medals over the White House fence. Then when running for Pres. claimed they were not his. That they belonged to an anynomous friend.  Changing his original claim that they were his.  In essence disrespecting those who were awarded the same medal.  He has been on every side of every issue.  He is for something and then he is against it.  Totally unprincipaled.

Now you have another pick that has shown himself to be weak on defense.  Mr. Hagel who has adopted the thinking on the subject of the intellectual elite. Defended by the left as a good pick because he served as a combat officer in Viet Nam . One of many thousands that did. Hardley a credential for being nominated. At one time the left spit on Vets that served in Viet Nam and  called them baby killers. I know I was there when they did. Helped along by the testimony of John Kerry.  1. Hagel has shown himself to be hostile to Isreal, our only ally in the middle east.  2. Refuses to call obvious terrorist groups terrorists.  3. Has record of wanting to cut the military. 4. Does not want sanctions to be placed on Iran.  5. Has expressed his opinion that we should endevor not to make them angry with us. Is this what we want as a Secretary of Defense ?

Well I can understand that Al.  I guess you realized that you were in a shit house now that the Obamas live there. Heck, if you are going to poop anywhere that is the perfect place to do it. After all what is the difference. You were surrounded by poop. They especially specialize in pooping in the peoples face.  The first lady is a poop and the Pooper in Chief is there. Spreading his poop around . You even have the "Bull Pooper spreader", J Carney,  giving the press conferences each day. The mainstream news journalists poop their pants every time they should be asking a hard question or a follow up question. Heck Al you did the right thing pooping at the White House. The President is very tolerant of poopers. He is a "in your pants pooper himself".  Every time he has to face a tough decision he poops his pants and leaves town. Then he makes that a place to poop. Then he just piles up his dirty undies and tries to put them in the Republicans laundry basket.

Thanks to Planned Parent Hood and their support for "abortion on demand". Remember that phrase.  It is key to this argument. Abortion has become big business. The total number of abortions as proudly reported by Planned Parenthood. Has now exceeded last years numbers and they are hopefully anticipating an increase next year. An organization that receives over 500 million dollars a year in tax credits and Medicare payments. Among other incentives. To proceed in the further degradation and break down of the values of the country. There have been by their own count over the past 3 years, over 995,000 abortions performed by that organization alone.

So you think it is not a human life. Ponder this if you will.  On day one, all chromosomes of the miracle of human life are present in fertilization.  By day 22 the baby has developed a heart and it is beating with it's own blood. By the fourth week  it is ten thousand times the size of the fertilized egg. By the eighth week the entire human baby is formed. They can now start to hear. By the the time week twelve comes around the baby can experience pain. Is this baby something that you are comfortable in killing? Late term abortions are especially cruel. The beginning of week 20 the child can hear and recognize it's mothers voice.

The cost is approximately a $350. plus price tag per abortion. So what we end up with  is a government funded organization. That encourages behavior that promotes the wanton sexual activities of youth and those least responsible to have a baby. By giving them an easy way out. The solution is just to have an abortion. Unwanted babies are, for he most part a result of irresponsible behavior. If you provide a simple solution to irresponsible behavior then why stop being irresponsible. An unwanted pregnancy indicates more than the just the act of intercourse.

It is the result of unconstrained behavior that is anti-social and wreckless Think of that when your son or daughter go out your front door. It symbolizes the direction and situation that we find ourselves in today. It is indicative of "no consequences" attitude for doing what you should not be doing. No accountability. Disrespect for your parents and teachers. It creates an environment  of dependency and of anarchy. Planned Parenthood is just a money machine. A misnomer and misleading semantics.  They have no stake in the education and prevention of a situation that would encourage more responsibility, but rather have a stake in encouraging it. They contribute to mass murder and the tax payer contributes to half of their revenues each year.

Most of you know me to be un-biased in my expression of likes and dislikes. Except when it comes to food and preparation of food. I make no apologies for that.  I like smoked BBQ and write about it often. I remain amazed as to the intricacies of producing a great food product.  I do have a problem at the thought of a local government, interfering with open and legal commerce. Along with our right to choose for ourselves.  If anyone wants to know what Obama care is really about should  take note..

This is just the beginning of controlling the population under the guise of “ health and safety”. The rational is that the entire population pays for citizens who live unhealthy life styles. Those kinds of restrictions expand  the government’s power over the citizens. The process starts slow but continues to eat at our freedom to choose. Like a New York rat trying to get out of a card board box. It is not the big decisions that the government makes that limit your freedom. It is the small stuff that concern me most of all. They are what seem to be innocuous constraints and end up being tolerated.  

They build and build upon small, seemingly unimportant declarations,  petty criticism of  what they think is not in your best interest. They use these small regulations like bricks. Each brick eventually building a wall.  Not in front of you, not behind you. They build it around you.  Before you know it . It becomes a prison. Your prison. A prison of regulations and rules that you have not sanctioned or been asked about. It comes under a big umbrella called Obama Care. It's justification is health and safety. That, plus EPA regulations. That have pushed the envelope so far as to call water run off, toxic waste. An argument recently rejected by the courts in N.J.  It indicates the lengths they will go to control every segment of society. To advance their control over you.

New York City is a perfect example of how they exercise control of what you do in your daily lives. The mayor, a Napoleonic like power freak. Decides with the help of a city council.  What you do, where you go and what you can eat and drink.  If they can not ban it, they tax it.  Always needing more and more money for their expanding government. In order to feed the beast that enables them to control you. To continue the funding of public service union pensions and outrages salaries. That  unions then funnel back to the politicians. The insult is that we provide these tax funds to pay for bureaucracies that then monitor and control what we do, say and think.

You have heard this phrase many times when studying American history. " No taxation without representation".  A cry emitted in the days of early America colonists. A cry of discontentment and an objection to what was considered unfair taxation. Whether it was or not. That is only for the historians to speculate and for us to ponder or accept. The fact is that it was considered oppressive and unfair by those bearing the burden of the tax. As well as the billeting the Kings troops and numerous other grievances.  A very intrusive and sometimes dangerous practice. As the Kings men were not what you would call gentlemen. The Kings forces harbored the worst scoundrels of society. In addition, mercenaries were also used. Hardly a group of men to have in your house while your daughter and wife were at home. In other words there was no right of privacy or a say as how taxes were levied. Or how much and what the expenditures were benefiting or whom. To the colonist who had been governing themselves since the Pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock. Or the colony at Jamestown.  Had legislatures and legislators who they elected and were accountable to the constituents of their respective colonies.

Therefore the idea of a King treating them as anything other than that which they expected as subjects of the Crown, and as Englishmen, was repugnant. This along with having to pay what they considered confiscatory taxation. Was an outrage. You can imagine the feeling of betrayal by their own King and country. This was the lead up to the American Revolution.

So oppression by your own government is a possibility and a viable one at that. The availability of fire arms gave them the ability to resist those practices by their own King. That they found to be unfair and untenable. Now imagine if you will that the means to defend themselves in face of these actions were not available. Do you think that you would be singing the Star Spangled Banner or God Save the Queen? For that reason and that reason alone, the second amendment exists. Not  only to protect home and hearth from the invasion of other entities. Also to be able to resist the possible tyranny of your own government.

Our country is a young one even now When compared to the history of the rest of the world.  There are those, myself included, that are wary of forces in the government. That feel that there is an element in place that have an ideology that is abhorrent and dangerous to our freedoms. This is not because they are bad men or women. They are just driven by an ideology that is diametrically opposed to a free market, capitalist society. Or, to the traditional values that we hold dear. Allowing us to prosper and stay unified.  In an effort to implement that ideology on a grand scale is uppermost in their intellectual credo and cannot be dismissed. This causes them to vigorously attempt to do things the population finds wreck less and unfair.  In doing so they become oppressors by various means.

Bureaucracies headed by appointees that have not been elected by the people. Take on a life of their own. They become the masters and instigators of planning and directing policies that are not conducive to our norms or aspirations. Their  regulations by fiat, complicate and interfere with our pursuit of happiness. Which includes successful trade. One law leads to another. Regulations lead to more regulations. This is inevitable, because the very nature of bureaucracy exists for that purpose.

Some of us believe that this is happening right before our very eyes. Over staying of public officials in public office is the first sign of this occurring. Freedom of the press turning into a controlled propriety of the one group or another is also disturbing. In doing so they carry the water of the side they see eye to eye with. Special privileges being abused in order to mystify and then codify their own agenda. As well as those they support.  Or visa versa. This is a serious matter in that it misinforms. Taking away the option of voting intelligently by the masses when they choose to franchise their rights and duties. These are the situations that eventually call for resistance.

Implementing their ideas is a quest that did not take root in their minds overnight. How many times have we have encountered  minds of radical thought. That are neither reasonable or logical. These individuals can harm us and in real sense are dangerous to us. The ends justify the means is a philosophy that is well known to radical and tyrannical forms of government. It has been practiced in our modern 20th and 21st century world. It is a real threat that can only at last resort be quelled by an armed populace. It can happen and it does. Tyranny does not appear in an iota of time. It is a situation that evolves over time. We as a free people must be ready for it. When you take away our means to resist you enslave us.

The founding fathers knew by experience what was up when the put the second amendment into place. They knew this not by picking the idea off an apple tree. No, they knew by living under the rule of a tyrant. We live in a dangerous world.  The need to defend yourself and your rights must be protected and not infringed upon. Not by emotional cries of those who think government will protect them. It is the government that you sometimes need protection from.

So now everyone in the media want to make the nomination of Hagel and  his confirmation based on homophobia. Just another diversion. It should not be about homophobia. A question that will be nullified by Obama allies in the media. It should be about his voting record.  Mr. Hagels war record is notable. It should be admired and respected.  I can not say the same for John Kerry.  He has been a supporter of most Republican initiatives. However: he has been of late a luke warm supporter of Isreal.  His thoughts on the Islamic world and our reactions to it,  have become a bit too intellectually elite. Ignoring the intent of their ideology,  His support and alliances with democrats like Carl Levin and Kerry former Sen. from Nebraska , also a Viet Nam War Veteran. Along with the ever incompetent "put you in chains" Joe Biden. Make him suspect to the right and clear thinking Americans with principal.  He has been all over the place on many issues of foreign policy and voted for the resolution  to proceed in Iraq. He voted for the war. Then did not support it and presumably would have voted against it. His stand on many issues is all over the map.

The Obama supporters as usual are comfortable with this choice based on two reasons. One, Obama picked him and two, Obama picked him. It is suspected that if Obama killed their dog and their kids pet rabbit and ate them. They would still go along with his choices. What makes him especially attractive to the left wing is that he is a very harsh critic of President Bush. This is completely and totally in line with being led by the nose of the left wing main stream media. Who feel the need to continue to bash a man whose policies kept us safe and gave us an average of 5.5 % unemployment for 7 years. However, if they checked  Hagel,s voting record many of them would have a hard time supporting Obama's nomination. That is if they got their heads out the clouds and were truthful. Which is after all a difficult problem for the left. All they have to do is investigate it on line. Will they take the time out to do it. I don't think they will. They would rather go with the wisdom of Oprah or Letterman. Or, those misfit hate filled and jilted ugly old women on the view, except for one who is obviously not ugly. Which is no wisdom at all, just emotion.

It is amazing to see that some of the support for the anticipated nominations of Hagel and Kerry. Is the fact that they have a record of going to war.  Really, now that is a switch. Last time I looked at this or similar group of left wing supporters of Obama. Who will not miss a chance to condemn and demonize the military. They were spitting on my uniform and labeled everyone in the military as baby killers and war criminals. But then to use Obama's words, perhaps, " they have evolved". It is interesting to note that he is another evil rich person along with John Kerry. Something that Mr. Obama seems to be comfortable with when it suites him.

All the cry babies from the N.Y. , N.J area who suffered Sandy.  Yes you need the money, but you were willing to go along with a Harry Reid endorsed bill that would have been for 60 billion dollars,  You know in my heart of hearts I think you were so desperate. That you didn't care that the bulk of that money was for projects that would not have helped you.  When I say that I mean. It would not have helped your  immediate needs. Part of it would have.  That is the part that should have been ok.  However, every tom dick and harry pet project would have benefited. Some of them not even remotely connected to Sandy. 

So the House did not vote on that bill. The reason was simple and understandable. It had more pork than the  Italian pork store in the Sopranos.  At a time that the country is in such a fiscal hole and the President got a spending bill that is absolute larceny under the guise of not going over the fiscal cliff. A made up crises if there ever was one. Labeled such by the Wall Street Journal.  Spending $ 41. and only cutting $1.00 in spending was the deal of the century for tax and spend liberal Democraps

First out of his box of dumb rocks was Sen. Chucky, as he likes to be called, Shummer.  The other was Rep. Peter King. The hugging fat boy from Jersey was next. Last but not least the village idiot Gov. from N.Y. Of course the media jumped upon it and accused the House Speaker of being a meanie. I know no one reads proposed legislation any more. It is a "just vote for it " type deal.  But a total bill of $ 60 billion dollars should have had some Senators seeing a red flag. Rep. Peter King from N.Y., was in the front row of critics and complainants. Posturing of course for his constituency. That was to be expected. The others represent another group that are always looking for more spending. So the House postponed the vote until the pork was taken out. Mean rascally Republicans.  I don't think so.  Fiscally responsible is more like it. 

There is one thing though. Why did this take so long to come up. It was something that they knew that they, I mean all of them ,would have to deal with. Why is everything on hold until it becomes something that needs to be done almost "on the fly".  It is the actions of cowards. What the hell are we paying these guys for. They have enough staff. You start to wonder if these people can read. Hey folks like that guy on the T.V. ads says. You know the R.J. Wentworth commercial. Folks, " It's your money". But you know what people.  It is more and more obvious that we don't have a say.  We are just required to pay. What ever happened to, " you pay you play", I guess not in the U.S.A
