A Feline Enigma

CATS

Cats walk on padded feet,
Avoiding all that they meet,
In the dark they can see,
Cats can climb up any tree.

Every sound they do hear,
Cats have a sharpened ear,
Silent paws on concrete,
Cats walk with an air elite,

Acting oh so very carefree,
Ignoring at times all of we,
Into the night they do peer,
Cats know sounds they fear,

Cats can be the very best,
At giving life some needed zest,
Cats won't come at your behest,
After all you're just a pest.
