Parking Permitted
Park yourself in the park,
So green and happy with chirps,
A lovely seat awaits you,
Of wood or grass or earth,
Sit a while and smile,
To those who pass say hi,
The squirrels like it too,
Wave to them as well,
Park yourself in the spring,
Perfume fills the air,
As the flowers bloom,
Leaves dress the trees,
Park yourself in summer,
Drench yourself in sun,
It sticks like marmalade,
Against your glowing skin,
Park yourself in winter,
The pure white blanket covers,
A comfort for your thoughts,
White marshmallow fluff,
Park yourself in autum
God paints it with his brush,
Sense it all around you,
Never a need to touch.
