Slick Willie Struck Again

We have gone through the election of 2012. The parties went through the usual dance and the pundits had their say. Advertising firms hired by the candidates and other entities in support of each did their job. That included crafting messages, spinning and leaving out facts. The media choose it's sides and by and large the democrats had the upper hand in that area.  The sound bites were in full mode and the blathering of politicians was in overdrive. The arrival of August saw the Republicans host a convention in Tampa. The Democrats followed with their affair the following month. The speakers at both were men and women perceived to be of character and integrity by most. In most cases that was true. People of both political parties either tuned in or tuned out as the rambling went on and on. Then of course there were the independents. Those who I believe are without principal and care only about what is in it for them at any particular time in their lives.Not seeing beyond the tips of their noses. But there were two speakers that were wrong in being anywhere. One was Sandra Fluck who stood whining about the cost of birth control and that we should as a nation pay for her indulgences. An insignificant figure of what appeared to be of limited substance.The other was William Jefferson Clinton, aka Slick Willie.The former impeached and disgraced President of these United States. Held up as an icon and given the spotlight at the democrat convention. He lit up the podium for those watching. An actor of indisputable talent. An infamous liar, and cheat. Whom I may add was the first and only elected President to be impeached. In so doing. suspended from practicing  law in his home state of Arkansas for an extended period of time. Also, to be perpetually banned from ever trying a case in front of the Supreme Court of the U.S. Thus making it impossible to serve on that august body. His crime, after all was said and done. Was that of lying to a federal judge when interviewed and obstruction of justice as it applied to Paula Jones. A litigant in a case against a publication that she believed had besmirched her name. In essence Mr. Clinton prevented Paula Jones from getting her just day in court. The reason was to protect his own sorry ass. An ass that should have been hung out to dry numerous times, but for his position of power as attorney general of Ark.and then Gov. To add insult to injury. He then appeared in front of 300 million of his fellow Americans to deny his relationship with a friend and fund raising supporter, Dr. Lewinski's daughter, Monica. Who the good doctor had sent to work under the wing of an administration headed by the then President Clinton. Oral sex and manipulations with a macanudo cigar being the hall mark of his time off in the Oval office. Or sometimes refered to as Oval orafice. This is the man the democrats felt was the best man to support the election of Mr Barach Hussein Obama. Tells you something about democrats. A two timing liar.is the man they look up to as an icon. Try as they and the media may, you can not clean up his act.
