Jesus belongs in Christmas

without Jesus there is no need for a holiday

It's a Birthday Party, for the most influential person that ever lived. Why don't they get it?

Ok so this is what atheists and those who agree with them want to do. Using the Constitution of The United States of America. They want to get religion out of Christmas. So what would you end up with. Foremost we would have to change the word. It would no longer be Christmas. It would be something like Mas. Everyone would have to go around saying Happy Mas. After all Happy Holiday would be generic. Denoting no particular time of the year. So it could be the 4th of July or Washington Birthdays Martin Luther King Day or any day.
One day or holiday would be the same as the others. Sound familiar. It kind of goes in line with everything and everyone is equal in value, looks, mental acuity. Including what you should own or get paid... I think that is well documented as something that is akin to a socialist way of thinking. Next let's get rid of the notion that it is the birthday of the Christ child.  A virgin birth ? Come on, how stupid to even think that was possible. Oh really, well what about artificial insemination. Now that's common practice today. Anyway do they want to tell us how to think. Um.. that sounds familiar.

What do you end up with. Ergo, no child no birthday celebration. Now what do you have left. A tree, perhaps covered with ornaments and lights. Or maybe a nude tree devoid of any and all decorations. Making it a tree like any other tree. Except that it is in your house. Of course the star on top of the tree is not even to be considered as it represents the star that was followed by three wise men sent out by King Herod bringing gifts. That means no gifts. Oh boy that would really give something for children to look forward to. Hey kids we had a holiday that would give you pleasant anticipation of a gift of something that you really wanted. Too bad so sad, not this year. Let's see the Christ childs eventual teachings were peace on earth and good will to men and women of course. Shall we scrap that idea.We don't need that kind of rhetoric. No, we can't have anything as ubiquitous as this. That is what those who oppose it are indicating. In addition there would be no need for parties that get friends together Families would have no need at all to go to grandmas house.

Parents and friends would have no reason to see a smile on the faces of children as they wait for Santa. Ok, so the Supreme court decided in their twisted way that the Constitution actually meant that religion has no place in the realm of government. The founding fathers were specific in their thoughts and had no such thing in mind when they wrote it as the first amendment. You can argue till dooms day over it. It really does not matter. When it comes to humanity and what can be determined after hundreds of years what benefits the country and the population as a whole. Religion is one of them. The celebration of the birth of a little Jewish boy. That would go on to teach to turn the other cheek and to follow the Ten Commandments. Is that a bad thing that we should not at least incorporate it into our nation traditions at least one day a year. Who does it harm. Why are some people afraid of it. Members of other religions have no problem with it.

Everyone enjoys it. Except for some misanthropes. Want to in some way be part of Christmas and the reason for it. Christmas represents the good in all of us and we have a chance to show it universally. One day of the year. Out of 365 can't we give one day to a little boy that did exist. We know he did. It is written as history and he takes his place in one way or another in the 3 major religions of the world. We need Christmas and religion, it is necessary to keep us sane. Without Christ there is no Christmas. You don't want to celebrate it. Well don't. We, unlike those who object to it. Are not telling you what to do or think. So just go on your merry way. Leave us who have faith that a child was born to save the world. Free to enjoy and celebrate the birth of the Christ child.
